Army Pfc. Angelo A. Zawaydeh

Army Private First Class Angelo A. Zawaydeh, son of St. Thomas More parishoners Akram & April Zawaydeh was killed on the 15th of March at 6:00 PM. Angelo, only 19 years young, lived in San Bruno, before enrolling in the Army. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) out of Fort Campbell, Ky.; He was killed March 15 when his traffic control point came under mortar attack during combat operations in Baghdad. Angelo is survived by his mother and father, two sisters, a brother and a large, supportive and loving extended family. We pray for this fallen Hero who gave up his life for our saftey and securtiy.
 
Our prayers are also with his family during this difficult time.
